English: Dupont Building (or DuPont Building) in Wilmington, Delaware at 1007 N. Market Street. The photo was taken on 3/14/2009 during the St. Patrick's day parade. Picture taken from King Street in front of the Public Building with Rodney Square in between. The famous statue of Caesar Rodney by James E. Kelly is barely visible through the tree above the left corner of the New Holland Tractor. Built in 1907, the Dupont Building houses the Dupont corporate headquarters, a Wilmington Trust Branch, the Hotel du Pont, the Green Room French restaurant and the Dupont Theatre (formerly the Playhouse Theatre). |
