    • The peaks of Altai Tavan Bogd mountain
    • A "curly pattern" representing regional folk craft
    • The shield of a hero
    • A book, symbolizing wisdom
    • Framed by two spikes of grain, the source of life
    • and two heart-shaped fire balls
  • Under the talons of the eagle a banner with the colors of the aimag flag inscribed with the name "Bayan-Ölgii" in cyrillic letters
