Stema municipiului Câmpulung, potrivit anexei nr. 1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular albastru cu marginile rotunjite, încărcat cu un coif medieval de argint, în profil spre dreapta, cu viziera închisă, cu fanta pentru vedere dreptunghiulară, neagră, cu cele două cruci poziționate în dreptul obrajilor, de asemenea, negre, cu 2 lambrechini, sub formă de frunze de acant, unul roșu, celălalt argintiu, pornind din vârf și coborând pe marginea din stânga până la baza acestuia; coiful este timbrat cu o acvilă de aur, cu aripile strânse și lipite de corp, privind spre stânga, cu ghearele roșii, cu ciocul de aceeași culoare și în care ține, de extremitatea inferioară, o cruce latină din același metal, așezată în pal.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu 5 turnuri crenelate, din care iese o acvilă cruciată neagră, privind spre dreapta și cu aripile întinse.

Semnificațiile elementelor însumate

Compoziția simbolizează vechiul scaun al voievozilor Țării Românești, care reprezintă, cu mici diferențieri, vechea stemă a localității, aprobată de Comisia Consultativă Heraldică și promulgată de Regele Carol al II-lea prin decret dat în luna august 1930.

Coroana murală cu 5 turnuri crenelate semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de municipiu.
