1 avqust 1664-cü ildə Sentqothard döyüşündə Avstriya və Macarıstan ordusu Osmanlı qoşunlarını məğlub etmişdir. 1664-cü ildə imzalanan Vaşvar sülh müqaviləsinə əsasən Osmanlı qoşunları Transilvaniyadan çıxarılmışdır.[1]
