Chaunacidae — Lophiiformes dəstəsinə aid olan monofiletik Chaunacoidei yarımdəstəsinin tək fəsiləsi.[3]
Taksonomiya
[redaktə | vikimətni redaktə et]Dəniz qurbağaları ilk dəfə 1863-cü ildə amerikalı bioloq Theodore Gill tərəfindən ayrı bir ailə, Chaunacidae kimi təqdim edilmişdir.[4] Charles Tate Regan bu ailəni 1912-ci ildə Lophiodea yarımdəstəsinin Antennariformes bölməsinə daxil etmişdir. 1981-ci ildə Theodore Wells Pietsch III Reganın 1912-ci ildəki qruplaşdırmalarının monofiliyasının təsdiqlənmədiyini müəyyən etdi.[5]
