Dendroaspis angusticeps (Şərq yaşıl mambası) — Şərqi Afrikanın cənub sahil bölgələrinə məxsus mamba cinsi olan "Dendroaspisin" yüksək zəhərli bir ilan növü.

Taksonomiya

Şərq yaşıl mambası ilk dəfə 1849-cu ildə Nataldan və şərqdə Maputo körfəzinə qədər olan ərazidən məlumat verən şotland cərrah və zooloq Endryu Smit tərəfindən "Naja angusticeps" kimi təsvir edilmişdir.^[3] Xüsusi ad "angusticeps", latın sözü "angustus", "dar"^[4] və mürəkkəb sözdə istifadə edildikdə "caput" ("baş")-ın qısaldılmış forması olan "ceps"-dən gəlir.^[5] Alman-İngilis zooloqu Albert Günter 1865-ci ildə şimali Mozambikdəki Zambezi çayından "Dendroaspis intermedius" təsvir etdi.^[6] Bu, sonradan "D. angusticeps" ilə sinonimləşdirildi.^[7]
