English: The Japanese general 乃木希典 (Nogi Maresuke) and the Russian general Aнатолий Михайлович Стессель (Anatolii Mikhailovich Stoessel) (both in the center) after the capitulation of the Russian forces in the Chinese city 旅順口區 / 旅顺口区 (Lǚshùnkou qu), (European name: Port Arthur),(Japanese name: Ryojun) on 2 January 1905 (Julian calendar). (Russo-Japanese War 1904-1905)
Français : Le géneral japonais Nogi Maresuke et le géneral russe Aнатолий Михайлович Стессель (Anatoly Mikhaïlovitch Stössel au centre) après la capitulation de la garnison russe de Port-Arthur le 15 janvier 1905 (2 janvier dans le calendrier julien). La ville est également appelée Lüshunkou par les Chinois et Ryojun par les Japonais (Guerre russo-japonaise de 1904-1905).
