Afanasi Kirxer (alm. Athanasius Kircher) (d.2 may 1602 - v. 27 noyabr 1680) — görkəmli Alman polimatı və rəsamı, dahi alim , Yezuitlər ordeni ona tərtib olunub,
Həyatı
Afanasi Krixer 2 may 1602 Fuldada anadan olmuşdur. Alimin atası- Yohan Krixer(Йоханнес Кирхер)- filosofilə maraqlanırdı və həmcinin Maynsdaki teoriyalardan dərəçə qazanmışdır. 10 yaşında atası Fulda seminariyasına verir. 1616-cı ildə Afanasiya Maync tərəf yönləndirilmişdir.
