Герб Александровского района представляет собой геральдический щит. В золотом щите над лазоревой оконечностью червлёная крепостная башня, обременённая в почётном месте серебряным вздыбленным конём, обращённым вправо, под которой в фокусе две скрещенные, чёрные, с серебряным убором шашки в ножнах клинками вниз
