Teleqoniya (q.yun. τῆλε — "uzaq" və γόνος — "doğuş" sözlərindən, yəni "uzaqda doğulmuş") — XIX əsrdə mövcud olan və hal-hazırda rədd edilmiş köhnə bioloji konsepsiya. Bu nəzəriyyəyə görə, əvvəlki, xüsusilə də ilk seksual partnyorla əlaqə qadının sonrakı seksual partnyorları ilə əlaqəsindən olan övladlarının irsi xüsusiyyətlərinə təsir edir. Müasir elmə görə, bu cür yanaşma — eksperimental tədqiqatlara əsaslanmayan mövhumat və yanılma olmaqla, məlum irsiyyət mexanizmlərinə uyğun deyil.[1][2][3][4][5]

Halbuki, 2013-də Cənubi Uells Universitetindən tədqiqatçı bir qrup[6] milçək növləri üzərində telegenik fenomeni sübut etmişlər.[7]

Tarixi təsəvvürlər[redaktə | mənbəni redaktə et]

Teleqoniya haqda ilk fikirlər Aristotelin əsərlərində rast gəlinir və ona əsaslanır ki, fərdin xüsusiyyətləri təkcə onun valideynlərindən keçmir, həm də fərdin anasının əvvəllər başqa kişidən uşağının olması da rol oynayır.

XIX əsrdə və XX əsrin əvvəllərində teleqoniyaya inam ev heyvanları ilə işləyən seleksiyaçılar arasında yayılmışdı. Geniş populyarlıq qazanan hadisələrdən biri isə lord Mortonun atı ilə baş verən və Çarlz Darvinin cərrah ser Everard Homa istinadən qeydə aldığı aşağıdakı hadisədir:

1815-ci ildə atların dözümlülüyünü artırmaq məqsədilə zavod sahibi lord Morton 7/8 ərəb və 1/8 ingilis qanı olan madyanını kvaqqa (nəsli kəsilmiş zebr növü) ilə cütləşdirir. Amma döl alınmır. 1817, 1818 və 1823-cü illərdə həmin madyan öz cinsindən olan ayğırla cütləşdirilir və nəticədə doğulan dayçalar bəzi xüsusiyyətlərinə görə, sanki 1/16 kvaqqa qanı daşıyırmış kimi görünürdülər.

Ç.Darvin bu hadisəni atların ortaq əcdadının arxaik xüsusiyyətlərinin qalığı hesab edirdi.

Təcrübi yoxlamalar[redaktə | mənbəni redaktə et]

Mortonun nəticələrini təcrübədə yoxlamaq üçün Ceyms Kassar Yuart (1889) və İlya İvanov tərəfindən aparılmış təcrübələrdə atların zebrlərlə cütləşməsi heç bir qeyri-adi nəticə verməmişdi. Müəyyən edilmişdi ki, əvvəllər heç vaxt zebr və kvaqqalarla cütləşməyən madyanların dayçalarında da zolaqlara rast gəlmək mümkündür.[8] XIX əsrin sonlarında itlər (Lanqa) və göyərçinlər (Bell) üzərində uzun illər aparılmış müşahidələr də teleqoniyanın mövcudluğunu sübuta yetirə bilməmişdi[9].

İctimaiyyətdə[redaktə | mənbəni redaktə et]

Teleqoniyanı mövhumat hesab edən elm dairələrinin onu inkar etməsinə baxmayaraq, bu nəzəriyyə at və it yetişdirənlər, həmçinin radikal millətçilər arasında çox populyardır.

  3. Popenoe, Johnson, 1933, It is, however, a pure myth, as well as the corresponding belief that the male may carry a persistent effect in his germ cells from a first mating. There is no good evidence to support telegony, and there is abundant evidence to contradict it. Telegony is still believed by many animal breeders, but it has no place in science In such a case as the one quoted, the explanation is undoubtedly that the supposed father is not the real one. And this explanation will dispose of all other cases of telegony which can not be explained, as in most instances they can be, by the mixed nature of the ancestry, and the consequent variability., p. 37
  4. Bulmer, 2003, In animals the phenomenon is called „telegony“ and occures if a male who has been mated to female affects the appearance of the subsequent offspring of that female by other males. The best known example is that of Lord Morton's quagga, a species of zebra now extinct. Lord Morton had mated a male quagga to an Arab mare, which has subsequently mated to an Arab stallion. The foals from the latter mating showed features resembling the quagga (the "quagga taint"), in particular conspicuous stipes on the legs, which contemporary scientists accepted as a proof of telegony. Darwin explained telegony by supposing that gem-mules introduced in to the female when she mates with the first male can survive and divide in her until subsequent matings. Later control experiments showed that stripes could be found on foals from mothers who had been never mated to quagga or zebra, and belief in telegony was dead by the end othe nineteenth century (Burkhardt 1979)
  5. Britannica, 2011, All these beliefs, from inheritance of acquired traits to telegony, must now be classed as superstitions. They do not stand up under experimental investigation and are incompatible with what is known about the mechanisms of heredity and about the remarkable and predictable properties of genetic materials

Clutton-Brock, 1992, He argued correctly, that the two foals of the Arab sire and dam were striped, not because of telegony, that is the influence of previous Quagga sire, but because all horses have the an underlying pattern of stripes in their repertoire of development. (Darwin 1858, 1868; Gould 1990) It is not at all unusual for the foals of horses to have black stripes and stripes on the lane, p. 47
